08 - Music Genres

For our task, its important we carry out the correct research to maintain we get the best result at the end of our work, so, I have researched different types of music genres because different types of people are into different types of music and this can effect how a music magazine is made. 


For example, the colours used can depend on the genre so it relates to them and what people like.
"The ideology of the music will affect the design. A pop magazine may, for example, use bright primary and pastel colours and use smiling pop stars. Rock magazines will use clashing and aggressive fonts and colours and have grimacing bands, sometimes making rude gestures."


This shows that it's important to understand different music genres and what's associated with each one. Eg the type of people who listen to the genre, their personalities, the colours and images associated. 
There are many types of different genres, these include;

- Rock

- Rap
