Bricolage is where two genres come together to form a new idea from a diverse range of things available to them. Musical Bricolage occurs when in music sub cultures where experimentation is part of daily life. An example of this is artistic communities. Bricolage occurs when access to resources is limited so it limits commercial influence. Most people also strive to differ from the social norms and become an individual and be different in their performance. Some people believe training stunts creativity and stops this happening.
An example of this is 'Walk This Way' By run DMC and aerosmith. By including heavy rock and hip hop music features it created a different kind of song that merges two genre. By including rapping and scratching over a heavy rock track it creates a different, yet still successful track.

Bar codes are a way of addressing with readers. The reader can scan these codes using smart phones to directly link them to the website of the magazine, this shows the development that has been made over the recent years that technology can allow them to do this. This is a simple way for the to address the reader in comparison to a fan page in the magazine because it's direct.
